Adult Book Club

This group has been meeting on the 3rd Monday of each month since 1998! You can drop by the Clubhouse at 7:30pm
Books are selected from a variety of genres and this loyal club has an established relationship with the Last Chapter Bookstore located at Shannon Valley (College Blvd and Antioch) which provides members a discount on books for the club. They keep our selections on a shelf titled "LionsGate Book Club" and you need to let them know you are a member of the book club to received your discount. The club only chooses books available in paperback to keep costs down! If you have any questions please contact Susan Krouse or email her at DSKROUSE@aol.com. Members are emailed of new selections in advance.
LionsGate Swim Team

The swim team is made up of children ages 6-18 of varying abilities. 75-100 neighborhood children make up the team. Our league is recreational with an emphasis on personal improvement. The league mission statement and meet rules were written to even out successes among the different Johnson County and suburban Missouri teams. LionsGate practices are one hour a day, either 8:00am or 9:00am throughout June and July. This year we look forward to again having Nicole Huston as our coach. Last year was a terrific experience and we're anticipating this year being even better!! Having a child on the swim team is a wonderful way to get acquainted (or reacquainted) with your LionsGate neighbors. The more the merrier! An informational meeting will be held in March, look for a flyer in the weeks to come. Those interested in more information should call Debbie Glenn or Joy Press.
Ladies Saturday Morning Doubles Tennis

Ladies of all abilities who love tennis are urged to join this recreational group. The only requirement is that you bring a can of tennis balls!! This group will meet Saturday mornings at 8:30am.
Swim Lessons

Sign your children up for swimming lessons that are held during the summer here at the LionsGate swimming pool. Nicole will personally contact you to make sure your child is placed in the proper level based on abilities. Please note any prior classes taken when you sign up!
Sand Volleyball

Tennis Lessons
We are currently trying to recruit a tennis coach to offer lessons. So far we do not have anything specific to offer but if you are interested in tennis lessons, please sign up and if we can organize lessons, we will contact you!
